Greetings from Greece! During the winter holidays I decided to make a return visit to Thessaloniki, the home of my fellow fashion enthusiast and my forever-partner-in-crime Grigoria. I could lie and say I went for the travel experience and to spend time with her but nah. In reality I just went for the food like a true student. See, it's good to have a Greek mom as your second mom because they feed you very well. (And it's not that my own lovely mother won't feed me its just that along the Mediterranean sea, they tend to feed you to a point where you have to start worrying about whether you should have booked two seats for your return flight instead of one.) Ok, ok, in all seriousness, delicious food or not, I had so much fun and was so grateful that Grig agreed to have me tag along. We stayed a few days in Thessaloniki, but we also visited one of her best friends from home in Xanthi, a small but beautiful student town surrounded by Mountains. They had the cutest little local cafés, which would turn into a pub by night, and great lively restaurants. Also, surprisingly (as we were visiting during the Greek exam period) the night-life was great. We ended up staying out until the next morning. Something I've learned during my travels is that everyone should learn the ways of the Greek on their level of chill. They don't care about mundane things such as exam stress. Every night should be celebrated, at least in Xanthi.

In regard to my outfit, I'm still obsessed with mustard yellow. I don't know where this is coming from but if it's mustard yellow, I'll take it. The Zara skirt I'm wearing on the post is the one I was talking about on one of my previous posts. Also, I was so glad to finally get a chance to blog my shoes, as they're my new favorite pair (I got them only for 15e in the sales). As everyone else in the fashion world these days, I love myself a good pointy toe. I can't get enough of it. At the moment I'm on a hunt for the perfect pair of ankle boots with a sharp extended pointy toe. On the other hand, I keep praying that I won't find one, as I'll have to wait for the next payday. I will seriously have to start looking for a summer job...

On that note, I wish you all a productive week. May you all know what you want and have the ambition and discipline to go and get it. And may I find the wisdom to listen to my own advice.

Kisses,
J
